Sales - Area Manager
Overview: Ritron manufactures wireless communication equipment. We serve industries like schools, railroads, construction, healthcare, and others with reliable, cost-effective 2-way radio products that enhance communication and operational efficiency. We are seeking a reliable, motivated Sales Account Manager to build strong relationships and drive sales within assigned territories, while collaborating with internal teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences and grow sales.
Duties and Responsibilites:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
- Identify customer needs and provide tailored solutions from Ritron’s product portfolio.
- Proactively manage the sales cycle, including prospecting, qualifying leads, presenting products, negotiating terms, and closing deals.
- Follow up promptly and consistently on customer inquiries, quotes, and opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, marketing, and customer service) to ensure smooth order processing and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and stay updated on industry trends.
- Prepare and deliver sales reports, forecasts, and updates to leadership.
- Represent Ritron at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings.
- Ensure customer details are entered accurately and updated regularly, ensuring an up-to-date customer database
- Use our CRM System to track all activities within your accounts and schedule follow-up actions.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field.
- Prior experience in Radio Frequency (RF) Industry is preferred but not required
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a solution-oriented mindset, organized.

RF Design Engineer
Summary:
Ritron is looking for a digital firmware design Engineer to support our growing wireless products engineering team in Carmel, Indiana
Looking for motivated individual contributors of various experience levels in the design and development of digital hardware, microcontrollers, and embedded firmware to support Ritron’s wireless products. Should have coursework emphasis and hands-on experience with digital electronics, microcontroller/microprocessor circuitry and embedded firmware development. The person in this position reports to the Chief Engineer.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Will work with the RF and project engineers to develop digital hardware, including microcontrollers.
- Will write the firmware that will embedded in microcontrollers.
- Support project initiatives collaborating with the rest of the design team ensuring that development milestones and deadlines are met.
- Analyze and provide feedback on peer designs in an open and collaborative design review forum.
- With experience, actively participate on, and at times lead, cross-functional teams to develop new devices as well as address design issues or maintenance of existing products.
- Evaluate, test, and review designs to determine if program will perform according to requirements and specifications.
Requirements for the Job:
Essential
- Hands-on experience with digital hardware including microcontrollers, interface circuitry, etc.
- Experience with processor assembly level and C language development including the tools used to edit, compile/assemble and debug code in an embedded environment.
- Strong documentation skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work with all levels of the organization especially with peers and other team members.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to contribute to multiple concurrent projects.
Desirable
- Prior design engineering experience with emphasis on wireless designs.
- Experience with and knowledge of FPGAs and DSP devices.
Minimum Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or suitable, equivalent experience and expertise.

REPAIR TECHNICIAN - TWO-WAY RADIO
Job Purpose: Troubleshoot, repair, and test analog and digital two-way radio equipment down to the component level.
Knowledge: Two-way radio experience a plus. Electronics troubleshooting and repair. Mechanical aptitude, Minimum of 2 years electronics troubleshooting experience. Must understand electronics theory.
Education and Experience: Minimum Education: AASEET or equivalent experience preferred or job experience equivalent.
Duties and Responsibilites:
- Verify two-way radio equipment is working to technical specifications.
- Correct and defects found in equipment using troubleshooting and soldering experience.
- Enter detailed work information into PC for billing and tracking purposes.
- Help customers resolve technical issues via email and telephone.
- Inspect and test radio PCB boards to locate, troubleshoot and diagnose malfuctions through visual inspections, testing devices, and computer software.
- Reassemble and test equipment after repairs.
- Repair/replace SMD components down to 0402 size.
- Refer to schematics and manufacturer's specifications that show connections to locate and repair problems.
